The Smith Optics Grudge Match returned to Dark Park for the first time since 2015—and it did not disappoint.
A head-to-head, bracket-style showdown, the Grudge Match keeps things raw: riders roshambo, the winner sets the feature and the trick, and the next has one job—one-up it. This year’s field was stacked with local rippers, the Okemo Mountain School crew, and even Lucas Magoon rolled through with a few of his riders.
When it all shook out, the finals came down to Darkside/OMS rider Henry Bonang vs. Goon Gear’s Scotty Korwes. Heavy tricks, zero room for error, and a proper back-and-forth battle—but in the end, Scotty snuck in the W.
