2026: Summer Skateboard Camps

We will be hosting two skateboard camp sessions this summer. Each session is open to ALL ability levels. 

Week one: Killington - July 13-17 at the Dark Park, 1842 Killington Road, Killington.

Week Two: Ludlow - July 20-24 at Dorsey Skatepark, 41 Andover Street, Ludlow. 

Schedule for each day:
9am-9:30am- Drop Off / Free Skate
9:30am-10am- Group Warm Up
10am-12pm- Instruction, drills, games, activities
12pm-1pm - Free Skate
1pm- Pick Up

SKILL LEVEL: All Ability Levels
AGES: 6-12
MATERIALS INCLUDED: Helmet, pads, skateboard IF NEEDED
REQUIREMENTS: Please bring: Water Sunscreen Proper Footwear (No open toe shoes) Helmets, Pads, Skateboard (if you have them)
INSTRUCTORS: Javier Spiegel and Tucker Zink
INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Originally from Chile, Javier now calls Killington home. Javier has been skateboarding since he was a kid, and still skates every day during the summer. He spends his winters coaching freestyle skiing, and has joined Darkside to run our skateboard camps.

Tucker Zink is the General Manager at Darkside. He started our skateboard camps at the shop in 2018 as a partnership with the Town of Killington. Since the camps inception, Tucker has instructed over 50 kids each summer, and will be back this summer to assist Javier. 

COST IS $150 PER SKATER, PER SESSION.

Sessions are based on location, with Week 1 in Killington, and Week 2 in Ludlow. 

Each session has 15 spots available.

We need a minimum of 5 campers to run camp.

Payments:

Full payment is due at sign up.

Changes/Cancellations:

We understand that plans change, and your skater(s) may not be able to attend the session they were initially registered for. We ask that you communicate these changes as far in advance as possible to allow time for families on the waitlist to make plans for sessions. Please contact tucker@darksidesnowboards.com if you need to make any changes.

Refunds:

  • Full refunds will be issued if Darkside makes changes that prohibits the participants from attending.
  • Full refund will be issued for any changes or cancellations made prior to 5pm the Wednesday before your session starts. This allows time for families on the wait list to move into the session.
  • Partial refund (50%) will be issued for any changes or cancellations made within two business day prior to the start of your session.
  • 25% refund will be issued for any cancellations made within 24 hours of the program start date.
  • Full payment is non refundable for campers who do not show up or cancel after the start of their session.
